At Da Vinci Academy, we believe passionately that education changes lives.

Our mission is simple: we strive to provide our students access to the very best educational provision and in turn we expect our students to be the very best version of themselves.

At  Da Vinci Academy our ethos is underpinned by three statements which describe our approach to everything we do.

  • Inspiring Excellence: We inspire our students to achieve excellence in all aspects of school life from achievement in subject areas to wearing their uniform with pride to treating each other with kindness and compassion.
  • Shaping Futures: We understand the importance of the holistic development of our students so they can play an active role in modern society and can pursue their dreams when they leave school.
  • Empowering Our Community: We are committed to serving our community by providing the highest standard of education enabling students to achieve their lifelong career ambitions.

At Da Vinci Academy we place significant importance on instilling our three core values in all aspects of academy life.

Respect

Respect fosters a culture of understanding and empathy, making students and staff feel safe and valued. This core value promotes healthy relationships, reduces conflict, and creates a positive, inclusive educational environment where everyone can thrive. Respect is the foundation for a supportive learning environment, preparing students to engage positively in society.

Kindness

Emphasising kindness in a school community enhances students’ social and emotional development. It fosters compassion, understanding, and a sense of belonging, teaching students empathy and reducing bullying and conflict. This creates a positive, respectful, and valued atmosphere for everyone.

Responsibility

Responsibility is crucial to prepare students for success both in school and beyond. It instils self-discipline, personal accountability, and informed decision-making. By taking ownership of their actions, commitments and consequences, students are better equipped to face real-world demands as they transition into high education or the workforce, enabling them to positively contribute to their communities.
